Dr. Benard Ayinbome Akalbeo is an Economist and a Quantitative Analyst. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, and a PhD in Economics from Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

He currently serves as Vice President of Quantitative Analysis at SitusAMC Holdings in the United States. Dr. Akalbeo prides himself as a true son of the soil of Bolgatanga East and is deeply passionate about seeing the full economic transformation of his people.

Beyond scholarship administration, Dr. Akalbeo ensures the Program serves as a platform for shaping a culture of academic ambition within the constituency — encouraging young people to see education, research, and public leadership as pathways to national service.

Dr. Akalbeo's leadership is also meant to ensure that the Dominic Ayine Legacy Scholars Program (DALSP) is both a transformative opportunity for individuals and a lasting investment in the constituency's human capital.
